About Me:
Hi, I’m Joleen, the person behind Fairytail Kennels. Dogs have been part of my family for as long as I can remember, and raising puppies brings me right back to where it all began.
At 10 years old, I started training and showing my German Shepherd, Joker. Together, we participated in the Hot Springs Kennel Club Drill Team, an obedience exhibition team, and I competed as a Junior Handler. Growing up in a family that raised German Shepherds meant puppies, training, and dog shows were everyday parts of my childhood.
That love of dogs has always been a family affair. My mom later bred Portuguese Water Dogs, and one of my favorite memories is handling her dog for the final points he needed to earn his AKC Championship.
Today, that lifelong love continues with Mary and Dexter, our French Bulldogs and the inspiration behind my Mary & Dexter children’s books. They’re part of our family, and their puppies are growing up right alongside us, with daily handling, playtime, and plenty of affection.
This is our first litter at Fairytail Kennels, built on decades of life with dogs and the joy of helping each puppy find a family of their own.
Meet Mary & Dexter
Mary
Mary is smart, stubborn, and absolutely certain you came over to see her. She loves everyone she meets and greets them with an enthusiastic supply of kisses. When she’s not soaking up attention, you’ll find her burrowed under a blanket, claiming the best spot on the couch, or making sure no dropped crumb goes to waste. She has plenty of opinions and even more love to give.
Dexter
Dexter is our self-appointed squirrel patrol officer, bravely defending the house until a squirrel gets a little too close. He loves tennis balls, watching dogs on TV, and showing off how clever he is. A sweet boy who wants to make his people happy, Dexter is always ready for a game of fetch, a cuddle, or a little extra attention. His big personality comes with an equally big heart.
Meet the Fairytail Puppies
Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by everyday household sounds, activity, and plenty of love. They’re held, handled, and played with several times a day and spend time with family members of all ages, including our toddler granddaughter. Each puppy has completed Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), and they’ve started puppy pad training and are doing well for their age. They will be ready for their new homes on 9/29/2026.
Each puppy goes home with:
Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
A microchip
A one-year health guarantee, as outlined in our puppy purchase agreement
AKC Limited Registration (pet-only, without breeding rights)
Starter food and a personal fleece blanket with the familiar scent of home to help them settle in
Pricing & Reservations
Each puppy’s price is listed individually. A $500 deposit reserves your chosen puppy and is applied toward the purchase price. The remaining balance is due before pickup or delivery. Full AKC Registration with breeding rights may be available to approved homes for an additional fee.
Pickup & Delivery
We’re located in Benton, Arkansas. We’re happy to meet within one hour at no additional charge or travel up to four hours for a fee. Flight nanny or in-cabin travel can also be arranged at the buyer’s expense. Our puppies do not travel as airline cargo.
A Lifelong Connection
We’re here for questions as your puppy settles in and grows. If you ever become unable to keep your dog, our purchase agreement requires that you contact us so we can help arrange their return.

Fig (F) is our most laid-back girl. She’ll absolutely join in and play, but don’t expect it to last too long. 😂 She’d much rather be eating something or finding a comfortable place to take a nap.
Fig is going to make the best little companion. She’ll eat when you eat, sleep when you sleep, and play when you play...as long as you don’t expect playtime to go on forever. She comes super cute and ready to cuddle. ❤️

Pepper (F) is our little adventurer! ❤️ She loves being right in the middle of whatever is going on and is always ready to join the fun. She’s confident, playful, curious, outgoing, and full of personality.
We think Pepper is going to make an amazing companion, especially for an active person or family. She’s the kind of puppy who wants to be part of everything — playing, exploring, going on adventures, and spending time with her people. If you’re looking for a Frenchie who will happily keep up with an active lifestyle and bring plenty of fun along the way, Pepper may be your girl.

Sugar (F) is every bit as sweet as her name implies. ❤️ With her beautiful white coat and one bright blue eye, she’s going to be a very striking little girl.
She’s also quite the active puppy. Sugar likes to be right in the middle of everything and can occasionally be found somewhere she definitely isn’t supposed to be. 😂 She’s curious, playful, and always ready to see what everyone else is doing.
When she slows down, Sugar is super sweet and cuddly and loves attention. She’s going to be a lot of fun for the family lucky enough to take her home.

Biscuit (M) is the sweetest little boy. He’s going to be on the smaller side, but don’t let his size fool you. He’s plenty tough and loves attacking his toys and wrestling with his sisters. 😂
The second you pick him up, though, all that toughness disappears. He absolutely loves being held and is just the sweetest little thing. He has a beautiful fawn-colored coat and the cutest, most expressive face.

Aside from being our most interesting-looking puppy, Java (F) is definitely the athlete of the group. She can often be found running through the house at full speed and, occasionally, running directly into a wall. 😂
She’s also Dexter’s favorite girl. She rolls around and wrestles with her dad like she’s completely in charge. Java is curious, brave, outgoing, and always ready for whatever is happening.
But pick her up and she melts. She absolutely loves people, loves being held, and loves her cuddles. Like all of our puppies, Java comes pre-rotten. 😊

Gravy (M) is our rough-and-tumble boy. He’s active, playful, and not afraid of anyone or anything. He’s always ready to jump right into whatever is going on and loves a good play session.
Underneath all that energy, Gravy is a sweetheart. When it’s time to wind down, he’s definitely a cuddler and loves being held. He also has a beautiful, super-soft cream-colored coat.

Rolo is our little wild child. 😂 He and his dad, Dexter, play HARD, and he’s always the one getting into something. He’s curious, confident, and pretty much fearless. But pick him up and he turns into a total lover. He loves being held and gives lots of kisses.
